Nice but a little too plain. I don't dislike it; about the same as the Conrail. Southern and Nickel Plate still my favorites.
It isn't even Pevler Blue! Looks more like Conrail. It would appear that the Hamburger heralds are right....
I'm going on record that I don't like it. Tuscan Red would have been much more appropriate. If they want blue, the least they could do is get the color right.....

DPC, ya made me look. The Conrail blue is closer to Pevler blue....

I like it! Even though I am not a fan of more modern equipment, it's nicer than some of the garish schemes on the prototype and on models.
I am sure the Penn Central will be just as "plain" but I'll have to have the MTH version.
I have to agree with the lukewarm responses above. It's only interesting because it's different, not because it's nice looking or particularly reminds you of the N&W.
It actually looks like a repainted Wabash unit!
Will somebody at Lionel's factory or MTH's factory end up using the darker N&W blue color on their models?
