That is great news Dave, both that you got the set of pins and that you had a bit of help from other train guys. I know it can be difficult doing long distance collecting. Enjoy the pins.

LCCA members that took the NORFOLK SOUTHERN TRAIN RIDE at the convention on Monday 23rd received a free set from The NS folks at the end of the ride. That was over 200 sets.

It was a complete surprise to everyone.

Yep, a great train trip with a first class crew. The tour of the NS coal piers before the train trip was another terrific bonus.

Well Dave your post and photo of the pin set drove me over the edge! I just ordered one and a poster of all the heritage engines around the round house. I don't collect much like this either but it did catch my eye when I first saw it come out.
