This was my old Greenbrook Station that I built 10 years ago, at least I'm pretty sure it was that long ago already. I tried Pennsyfying it today with a quick paint job and some slightly better trim. It's good enough for now even if the roof bugs me a bit. Maybe some gutters would help it not look so clunky. I am thinking I may put a small freight platform for that spur that ends next to it.

I got the color advice from here: http://pennsyrr.com/index.php/...-your-model-railroad

The station looks excellent but what I find most impressive about your work is your ability to make your structures  look old and weathered a bit. For my eyes, your soft weathering technique is just right and not overdone. It gives structures that aged look, while not making the railroad look run down or dilapidated. I try to use the same weathering technique on the Hill Lines railroad.

Pennsyfying??? Sorry Norm, that structure looks more like Colorado Narrow gauge with the wainscoting and the eave bracing. But, since I have a kitbashed Rico Station it would look right at home on my layout.
Looking good, my friend! Your work always inspires me to try new stuff. Not clowns, though. I know a bunch of train clowns but not those creepy painted Bozo things.

Some yeas ago I was in San Jose, a. for a business meeting and was waiting to meet a friend in the motel lobby. I saw a clown !! OK. Then I saw another, then a lot of clowns, all dressed running around. I thought I was going nuts, hadn't had a drink, thought maybe it was a model RR show but it turned out to be a clown convention !!  Keep the good work coming Norm, very enjoyable.
