Stunning layout

This video is already a year and a half old. The layout is amazing, I've had the opportunity to visit it and meet Dave Heikel. Dave used to frequent the forum and post construction reports. I just saw a fresh post by his brother Ted the other day. Dave doesn't own the layout, he and his crew were hired to build it.
The layout is made up of a series of recognizable scenes from throughout the western US.

Wow! I'll have to share with my Canadian friend. I'm always saying we need more Royal Hudson coming around the tracks, nice to see one popping in and out of the evergreens.
That is truly an amazing scenic railway journey. Thanks for sharing.

No doubt about it, Dave and his crew did an outstanding job. Met Dave about 9 years ago when he came to Madiganistan to help us with our DCS installation on the IHMD railroad. Extremely helpful, and just an outstanding individual.
Sorry to see that Dave and Ted don't post much here anymore. Always enjoyed their input.
