Hi Cody,

A small drop of light oil on the axles, on each side of each wheel will help those old postwar cars roll freely.

Those don't have the needle point axles like the new cars do, thus they require oil periodically.

Once you oil them, your loco should have no problem pulling them around.

okay what oil should i use? brands to recommend?

Just whatever you normally use to lubricate your trains/locomotives.

Lionel sells oil, as well as a variety of other companies.

I like Labelle #107 synthetic.
