That's pretty cool. The popcorn sound popping at the beginning should shoot out of the cooling tower. LOL. Yes I know Geiger counter but it reminded me of popcorn.
I almost went for the "bugout bag" and hurried everyone into the car to head north!!
Very cool!
Adrian,
You did a fantastic job. It is very entertaining.
Nice work! That looks like a great addition to the club!
That is very cool! Thank you for sharing.
That's great, all we're missing is the steam out the top of the containment, perhaps a large smoke unit!
Wow!! Go as far away and upwind as possible......
Very creative, super and inspirational!
Very impressive. Are you planning a "how-to do it" story?
ROFLMAO! Brilliant.

OMG, that's funtastic.
Nice Job Adrian! I agree with GRJ, having a large smoke unit in the containment stack with green or red lighting coming up through the smoke at melt down would be awesome. Love it.

I thought about this a lot actually. Originally I was going to dissolve the glow in the dark paint into the smoke fluid so it would glow in the UV.
The thing is once you have a smoke unit, there's a fluid tank that needs to be filled, a smokestack that needs to be cleaned, and heaters that need to be changed occasionally. I just wanted it to be low maintenance... we already have enough high-maintenance things in our club (like the trains!) that take a lot of time every week.
Right now the 10 year maintenance plan for this is maybe changing a flashbulb or two.
Understandable. Thanks again, helps me thinks of new & more creative ways I can make my layout more interactive.
Very COOL!!! Like the disco lights but the tune was tough to dance to.
Nice tweak!
LOL!!
What a hoot!
Good job!
(You're having way too much fun!)

Does anyone out there have Lionel's "Three Mile Island" box car?
That is cool! Those sirens sound like something out of one of those nuclear war movies of the 1980's. Well done!
Truly terrifying!
Neat !
BUGOUT BAG indeed!
works better than the real thing!
Fascinating...pure energy.
Amazing!! At least as good as anything I've seen on a commercial display! Great job!

The siren was from an old Civil Defense video... I took the audio of the alarm buzzers from the scene in the China Syndrome Movie.
Exceptional project, 👍 very good display.
