NY Central north to 1000 Islands?

I am filling in some family history, and have questions about New York Central's train service from the city, north to the St. Lawrence River area, in the 1920's. Does anyone have knowledge, expertise, or interest in this? If so I'll give you the details, offer what I have been able to find out so far, and see what you can come up with to help me fill in the blanks. Thanks!
