Engine in operation.

John, You've created an amazing piece here!
Simply Beautiful....you have a real gem there.
Did you use Little Engines castings or something else. Sounds like you did the work home machinist style. Is that correct? Any resources you can point me toward?
Thanks,
Brad

Outstanding work
Love it
Beautiful! A friend of mine has a Hudson that he runs at the New Jersey Live Steamers. He's let me operate it several times.
Nice!!!
The castings came from Klamath which is not in business any more. I'm not a machinist; most of work done by fellow hobbyists some paid some just interested in helping me get an engine going. Some of the appliances on the engine came from venders for other types of engines that Big Four Hudsons happen to have also ie. Worthington Feedwater System from David Moore. Thanks for the compliments. But many people were involved, and it took almost sixteen years to build. John
Thanks for the reply. In the video it looks like you are burning kerosene, or maybe coal. What fuel are you using?
Many thanks.
OMG! I would be in seventh heaven with a layout and engine like that!
BTW- does that have legacy?
Coal.
John,
That is beautiful, do you have more (longer) video footage of it in operation.
Thanks,
Alex
Have lottery ticket and lots of hope, that is one really sweet man toy.
Steam Channel on you tube Illinois Live Steamers 46th anniversary meet. There are several videos.
I agree with Gary. Thanks for the compliment on the Pacemaker car. Jim Roach of Decatur, IL did it .
