NYC "LionChief Plus" 4-6-4 Hudson #5421

Guys,

I just opened my new NYC "LionChief Plus" 6-81301. I went to use the remote, inserted new batteries in the remote, and the engine just beeps for a long time (5 min or more). I tried to use the conventional method and all I get is boiler sounds. The engine does not move. Any suggestions?

Yes the remote was on. I'm using a CW-80 and the throttle was all the way on.

Then it's time for a call to Lionel's warranty department. Let them sort it out. By the way, I was looking for a NYC Lionchief Plus loco last Spring. Couldn't find one anywhere.
