One of my O-27 switches is not working. I set my trains up annually so I color code the posts to speed things up. The attached switch is only three years old. All of the other switches are working and rail line has been tested and is working. I changed the switch lever to an extra that I had. The switch will still not work. Any help anyone can provide to help resolve will be greatly appreciated.

Disconnect the controller wires and power up the track(confirm with a lighted car or caboose). Does the switch power up and work for the non-derailing function? Run a few cars against the switch points from each direction and see if they throw to let the cars through.

The problem then lies with the controller or the connections. Make sure the wire you extended from the ribbed tracer wire is connected to the post nearest the switch motor.
