Back in the 1990s, I remember ads for Cape Code style houses in OGR.  Whatever happened to these ?  Were they from Ameri-Builds ?

I always intended to buy a couple of these kits.  They allowed customization with window dormers, shed dormers, or no dormers.  There was also an optional garage.

Hope to see these return to the market !

Gotta disagree Bill.  OGR

DID offer houses as part of the Ameri-Town line.  They were nice models, and did have the customizing features CBQ Bill mentioned.  They disappeared from the line some years ago...probably slow sellers and were dropped.  Whether they'd sell any better today is anybody's guess.  I always intended to get a few...but delayed too long and missed out.  Bachman's are OK, but OGR's were much nicer and more realistic (in my opinion).

I have three of these OGR Ameritown Cape Cod house kits.   Unfortunately I just don't have any more room available on the layout and I've been trying to sell them.  I have carried them to at least 10 train shows, including three times at York and just can't generate any interest.  All three of them are, not only in their original boxes, they have their original celofane wrap on them, too.  Don't blame OGR for not running them again.

These sound very interesting and I need some houses. If you still want to get rid of them I'm interested. My email is in my profile.
