I am posting early this week because I will be busy with family and friends the rest of today and tomorrow.

I want to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all the OGR staff and all the members and visitors of the OGR Forum and their families

While we gather together with our family and friends, we should take the time to reflect on what a blessing it is to be an American.

I do want to mention that MTH announced the first of many un-cataloged Rail King 1/43 Automobiles at $29.95 each

These appear to be American Heritage Models. I do not know how many more models they will offer. They should be at your dealer soon.

I guess MTH has made a licensing arrangement with American Heritage. Not a bad move, although it does little for me" I've got several of all of them but the newer SUVs, which are far too new for my layout. The DIVCO trucks are by far the most interesting. I have three, one converted to 'Streets. They are rather difficult to take apart: the interior holds the six doors in so when you take it out they tend to fall out and are hard to get back in.

Anyway, I would like a big flatcar with a load of three Divco trucks - that would be neat. Maybe MTH will offer that.
