O scale open canisters / 3d printing?

after coming across a neat lego dumpster my son had, I was wondering: are there any larger o scale containers out there? Meaning they are open containers i can place coal, etc into. From left to right in the photo: squre crates that came with the lionel plastic sets in the 90s, canister for size reference (not open of course), mth crate turned upside down I believe from MTh. And lastly the yelow lego dumpster.

I am looking for a container about 1 5/8" deep x 2" long for a gondola. Having trouble finding one and was wondering if a simple open rectangle crate could be accomplished with a new 3d printer? Anyone try that already? Thanks
