Has any manufacturer made O27 wyes? I could use a couple for the Museum layout.
Thanks!

Ross Custom Switches lists a 031 Wye. That's the closest I could find. Steve might do a custom for you. It wouldn't hurt to ask.
The first wye I saw was the Fastrack O-72... if you decide they might work, let me know - I replaced a couple with the newer Command Control versions (my engine yard is in a difficult place to easily access and the CC version was easier to deal with).

Forget how many I replaced... won’t be home till sometime tomorrow, depending on the weather overnight. I’ll let you know what I’ve got in the dustbin.
When you say O27 wyes, are you looking for 27" diameter curves out of the straight and/or are you looking for the lower-profile O27 track? Regardless, I'm curious and hope you find answers.
Ah Mitch! Always enjoy your posts.

27" curves, like this:
I'm working with a museum layout which currently has a back and forth trolley line going through a tunnel...
What I have in mind is replacing the trolley with a Thomas the Tank Engine running along a dogbone, instead:
O27 wyes would be ideal for this, but fabricating 'em might be tricky.
I am a tad surprised that neither Lionel nor Marx ever produced any...
As you can see, a wye would be perfect for this application!

Superstreets Switches by bachmann ex-kline may work for your project.
I've read that Ross (or maybe Gargraves) switches mate with O27 track. Maybe look there.
I see your application and why a wye would be perfect. You might be able to approximate it with back-to-back switches but that wouldn't look as good.
Hmmm. Might be worthwhile to scan some de-railed o-27 switches into the computer and see of a wye base could be whipped up on a 3d printer. The moving frog/points might be tricky.

Print the points?

Mitch;
I have three... I’ll send them all along. I’ll send you an e-mail with some additional info.
I recently made a Wye for my 40 year old layout. It can be a loop with one switch as others described but may be limited by the loop size. I do not see where you have to use a special symetrical switch. Or you can use three switches making a triangle like mine. I used Marx 1590, 027 switches just like all my 31 switches.
The picture shows four switches but that is because of my location. The switch by the red caboose is not needed for the Wye and the other two Wye switches on the bottom of the Wye are only partially shown.

Thanks again. Finally got 80% of everything i need. Now the tedious stuff, wiring. With the table setup for quick teardown, (evac zone, hurricane season) i will wire each 2x4 section individually and then connect section to section using teminal blocks.
