New news that we are open for visitors. Starting this month and going forward, the club will be open on Tuesday and Friday nights from 6:30pm to about 10pm and on Saturday from around 11am to 2pm. If anyone wants to visit us, simply call us at (732)363-7799 in advance to verify that we will be there. There is a doorbell on the parking lot side of the building. The side door to use has the wooden walk ramp.
Stop down, see the club, and run some trains.

This was our first Saturday of being open to the public and will be open on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month for the foreseeable future.
Off to a slow start but did have two guests. For those who would like to visit us, please do.
Ran some post war, a GG1 and a Veranda.
Just a reminder that our club will be open on Saturday March 25 from 1 to 4 pm. If you are in the area, stop by. You can see the progress we have made to the basement of a school that was built in 1927 plus get to run trains on our layout. The Lakewood Museum is open on Saturday from 1 to 4pm as well. Today, a prospective junior member showed up. Unfortunately his GG-1 sparked and didn't run. A washer and steel wool shavings were found stuck to the wheels and magnets (has Magna-Traction). Tony wasn't able to fix the problem and will need more work to get it running. Used a club engine so he could run his train.
