I just noticed this little guy with a baseball bat in the observation car of my 1938 20th Century Limited. He is also in one of my Amfleet cars. I read a CTT article and he made it into a Turbotrain. Has anyone else noticed this bat wielding passenger?

Hmm...that's pretty neat. I just purchased a set of Madison cars at York in October but didn't look close at the passengers but now I'll have too.

That is Hank Aaron.
He's not a passenger. He's the conductor's assistant. If you are on board without a ticket it will cost you a knee cap or shin bone! LOL
Hacksaw Jim Duggan?
Just another PRR fan, deep in enemy territory.

He is in my Crescent Limited set from 2011. I've always just assumed that he was a little hobo boy.
Why would a little hobo boy be riding the Crescent Limited, the observation car of the 1938 NYC 20th Century Limited, and the Turbotrain? Because some chucklehead in Q.C. at MTH signed off on it, as did some Bonehead at Lionel approving the Mister Magoo windows on the 18" aluminum passenger cars. They realize we really have no where else to turn, so this will continue.
If he is on the TurboTrains then he is likely ticked off waiting for alternate transportation to show up. Might as well go swing that bat around in the power cars and chase down whomever allowed these unreliable TurboTrains to be designed this poorly. I will look in my two TurboTrain sets which are static displays to see if the bat boy is on board. I did have a guy with a sledghammer taking swings at my TurboTrains.
Scott, your Turbotrain post prevented me from purchasing one. Thank you.
