Has anyone ever seen this before? It looks like postwar Lionel 1956 catalog art for the 601 Seaboard NW2 Set and Virginian 2322 FM set, but notice that there’s no catalog text, and strangely no 2341 Jersey Central set that’s shown in the catalog. It’s kind of Angela Trotta Thomas looking, but not quite. Sorry for the lousy picture. I had to use my cell phone.

I don't think it has anything to do with Lionel other than using their trains. Look at the graphics. Never have seen Lionel use any thing like that. Don

I agree; that's not Lionel's handiwork. Type fonts are a giveaway. Over the years there have been other artists besides Angela that have done such work.

Looks like someone scanned the catalog, rearranged, enlarged and embellished to make a buck.

I think its gorgeous.
I saw this at an estate sale kind of place. Nobody there knows anything about it. I told myself to think about it, but today they’re closed now that I want to go back and get it. Actually, now I wish there were more there too.
OK for a Robert Sherman ripoff!
