I think the T6 was done in brass by OMI (Overland Models) and also possibly by "The Car Works" I have never seen a model of an S6 or a C415. there was a Prototype C415 at the Buncher Industrial Park near Pittsburgh at one time.
The Car Works locos used Weaver drive components for a nice single motor drive that is very easy to convert to 3 rail. Just replace the wheel sets and add pickups.

Life-Like did one in HO that has a quite nice body. I have two, one BN and another one.
The N&W and PRR owned most of the T-6's. The Chesapeake Western got some the N&W. I wish someone would make these. I'm so sick and tired of SW's I can't stand it! At least the T-6 has some character!!!
The local chapter of the NRHS has one that they still operate.
They used to use three and four unit consists to hump coal in Roanoke. When they were working good, they would all have a three foot high red flame coming out of the stack!

LOTS of memories of running T-6's. Most of them bad.
Only kidding about the bad part. Worst part for me was it didn't fit my 6' 1" frame too good, and I would sometimes knock the fire out of my knee(s) when spinning around in the seat for a reverse move. Also I about knocked myself out going out the forward door one day... but that's another story best told another time.
Loved the visibility to the rear. Loved the way they smelled when you climbed in one to start your shift (reminded me of the Frisco Baldwin VO1000's I've been in), AND, they could pull pretty good for a 1000 HP unit.
Toward the end of my career, what T-6's weren't off on lease somewhere, the railroad kept the remaining T-6(s) up north. So, I haven't run a T-6 in years. Last T-6 I ran gave up on me after a couple of hours and I had to be towed back to the terminal and given another engine (C-420). That T-6 unit was sent north DIT that night, and I never ran another one.
Overall, I guess the good memories outweigh the less-than-good ones.
