Hello, I have a question. I just bought a Scale Lionel TMCC Mikado with the original Odyssey speed control system. What is the difference between this and Odyssey II you would find on legacy engines? Thanks.

Night and day! Legacy has 200 speed steps, Odyssey I has 32 speed steps. Odyssey I has four nodes on the flywheel magnets that sense rotation, Legacy has about 50-60 tiny slots in the flywheel sensor wheel. The speed control with Legacy is super, not bad with the older Odyssey, but nothing like Legacy.
