Can anyone tell me about off sight insurance on my trains when I'am displaying them out side of my house?

I would have to check with my insurance man, but I'm pretty sure my home owner's policy also covered things not in the home. Like stolen from your car or wallet or wife's purse, etc. Probably has a dollar limit, but it's been so long (probably 35-40 years) since he told me that, it could have all changed and I am not real good at keeping up with that sort of thing.
I have ten percent of what I have on the house, off sight, all most $2,ooo. But I have a $1000 deductible!
Talk to your insurance agent to find out whether your trains are covered either on site, or offsite. Fred
Lots of good folks on this forum......but none of them can advise you unless they are your insurance agent. 100 different policy's will cover things 100 different ways.
You can purchase online or I purchased through my insurance agent. If you need n ACI agent, please let me know.
Thanks,
-Mario

I 2nd this. ACI has a very comprehensive policy. I have trains in the club, at home and in a storage unit and they are all covered. You get an additional discount if you have a Geico policy. ACI is affiliated with Geico.
