Ogauge Track wooded Ties | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have a lot of Ogauge tubular track and I want to make wooden ties for this track. I know people have done this before

I need to know the size of the ties. Dementions length , width and height for Ogauge tubular track. Any anyone able to help here.

I need to know what thickness of wood that will work and get.

In my experiments with doing this, I've found 1/4" wide ties spaced 1/4" apart look the best. Not sure how tall O gauge track is, but my O27 ties are 3/16" tall to reach the bottom of the rail, or 1/8" to sit just underneath. Measure your track and make the ties accordingly.
