I certainly try to!

Again, it depends on YOU, the readers, who might be willing to share what you have created.

YOU are the folks who make the magazine what it is.  I'm only there to put things together.

It's already too late for the December issue, which is complete and being prepared for the printer.  I'm now working on January and February.

I prefer to receive possible Christmas/holiday photos and/or article ideas shortly after each holiday is past, although I can certainly take them pretty much through the following summer season.

If you're working on or planning something special for the coming holiday season, certainly keep us in mind for individual photos, a full layout feature, or even a how-to that relates to the holiday season.  Contact me and I'll send you, via e-mail attachment, our Author Guidelines and Photo Tips (compiled by Jim Policastro).

I much prefer photos that have NOT appeared on the forum, for rather obvious reasons.  Do keep that in mind.  Also remember that you will be paid, upon publication, for the published photos and/or article.  A good way to put something away for next year's Christmas Savings Fund.  Photos need to be hi-res JPEGs (preferred) and they can either be sent burned to disc (preferred) or as attachments to e-mail or, in the case of more than a couple or three images, as attachments to multiple e-mails.  By "hi-res," I simply mean largest file size possible, or with the camera set to record the fewest numbers of images.

I NEVER have enough great Christmas features and photos, and am delighted to give the season as much exposure as I possibly can!  After all, Christmas and O gauge go together hand-in-glove.

Allan, I've contemplated sending in a picture or 2 in the past of my Christmas layout, but since I rarely have actual winter/Christmas scenes on it I felt that my pictures really don't fit the theme of the magazine spread.

Is there "room" to show non-winter Christmas type layouts.  It's almost a separate category in a way though, which, again, is why I've never submitted any.
