Dear List,
On the OGR For Sale Forum there is a modeler who had 3d printed coupler pockets and spacers for the scale sized Lionel GP30 and others in the production loop. This will make the 3/2 rail process hopefully more palatable. The beauty of 3d printing in its fledgling state is the ability to produce any quantity of a item and I believe the hobby in general is going to see a resurgence of a cottage industry providing these products, similar to our 7mm modelers across the pond.
At our Strasburg show we have Terry Terrance, who has many 3D printed PRR and B&O signal/lineside/caternary parts at very reasonable costs.
I thank the Forum for allowing these modelers to show/sell there product, as the marketing part is their Achilles heel.
Check it out. John P. Dunn Sr. Scale2Rail Promotions
