   Tack removal shouldn't harm the knuckle pin or require a rubber band, or take long. But it does disable the "operational" aspect, and especially missed with remote operation. At least traditional ones were thin.

  The round head was pretty much grade friendly too. These are not. Grade is another reason I cut my fat tacks off; they bottom out on the 3rd rail.. The only thing that ever bottomed out.

  Other than that, I liked them. Redesign the tack head and or stem, and or move the stem back a bit?
