Hi Guys, for a while I was into the railways of Brazil .Brazil had broad gauge lines at 5ft 3". One of their steam engines a 4-6-2 number 353 was built by Baldwin USA in 1927 for the Central of Brazil railway,.recently re-tubed she has recently been returned to working condition, interesting loco being a 3 cylinder job, with double valve gear assembly on the right hand side for the centre piston, she;s an intersting animal. Check this recent video of her ,and note...burning wood into the bargain. In Brazil they call steam locomotives  "Maria Fumaca" or "Smokin Marys", enjoy this interesting footage...... I believe this is filmed in Sao Paulo. Also note the preserved electric loco she's hauling. I believe these were very similar to New Haven electrics, there are HO models of these electric locos made by Frateschi of Brasil   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPJoY9FwOlY&feature=related
