nice! I have one too.
Yours looks to be in really nice shape. I have to get one of those.
If you are interested, I have a set of three Marx prewar accessories:
- Spotlight (searchlight)
- Caution High Speed Trains signal sign with bell
- Switch tower
up for sale on the for sale sub-forum for only $30 plus shipping.

I had hoped to add a prewar loop to my layout, but just didn't have the room.

Nice 413. I also like the brown version usually found in Canadian sets.
nice, never saw the brown version before.
If you enjoy adding a little more toy flavor to your toy train layout I don't think the Marx Switch Man tower can be beat. I think it has just the right touch of whimsy to it. I have two of them. I have one on my small all tinplate layout and I also have one on my regular O Gauge layout. The Switch Man's tower fits in well on both layouts.
that's just one of the great thing about these Marx accessories, look great and small footprint.

I plan on adding it once I get my layout built a bit more

Your grandfather had some cool toys, Khayden. Glad that they are still in excellent shape for younger generations to enjoy.

Voice activation? I didn't know Marx was so high-tech !
Yes, the Marx 424 Radio Control Tower was quite the clever accessory. A diaphragm inside it worked a switch which could interrupt the track power. When the operator spoke into the tower, the diaphragm would operate the switch, stopping or changing the direction of the train.
