Is there a market for old o gauge tubular track? I was given a box of trains with transformer and track from a kindly old lady. I helped remove some items from her basement and she heard that I like trains. It turned out to be a major score. I got 2353 A-B-A units along with a TW transformer.

There was also an assortment of o gauge track. The ties have the words "Lionel" on one side and "NY" on the other side. This track probably goes back to the 50s and the original factory. Does it make it any more collectable?

Clutch...I am actually looking for tubular track for donation for my elementary emotional support/autistic classroom. I posted on the Wanted section of OGR. https://ogrforum.com/d...ent/2415514336647241

I am using trains/track to work on positive behavior reinforcement, teach about trains, teamwork, and building things. I have some older trains and some old tubular that my dad passed down. We have just started to play with the track and learn how it works as you can see from the pictures. So far it has been a positive teaching experience for the kids.

If you are looking to sell them, I certainly understand. I have been very appreciative of the OGR members that have helped.

I learned something about Ebay I didn't know when it comes to the run up in prices.  A friend does quite well selling toys that most in a metro area wouldn't give a second look.  We live in a very large country and many do not have access to a LHS or a train meet.  The Bay provides a source that didn't exist for that segment of the population.  The prices you see are what it is worth to them.  It certainly cannot hurt to try to sell it.
