Old power poles: Who made these? Postwar or Prewar? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I got 6 of these nice power poles in the old collection I am sorting through. There is no name or identifying info on them. Can anyone tell me who made them, and about what time period they were produced? Thanks.

Lionel prewar telegraph poles. #60 if they are 8 1/2" tall for standard gauge. #060 if they are 6 7/8" tall for o gauge. Made 1929-42. They came 6 in a set boxed as #71 or #071.

Look to be Lionel prewar telegraph poles. 1929-42 I believe. When I get home tonight I can probably narrow down he vintage via the paint scheme.

Thanks guys. I am always amazed by the wealth of knowledge one finds on this forum. Mine are 6 7/8" tall, so are "O" scale then.
