Old solder flows again

I guess you could call me a romantic. Soldered/mended cars before but today, was working on a plain ole Lionel #600 Pullman, been through the wringer, bent, beat and warped. It was missing the body strut so went about installing a new. As I'm soldering, the thought struck me of the person who originally soldered that car in the first place. Almost 100 years ago and that solder flowed just great! Hopefully this car will last another 100 yrs for some ole guy to restore! Have a great day!
