 A couple of railway photographs from my hometown.

 

 

Here is the Royal Train arriving. In the background you can see the original roundhouse and turntable. These are now long gone, but the signal box still remains in use.

Below is a slightly earlier photograph of an engine on the turntable. There was a locomotive depot in Eastbourne from 1849 until 1969.

There is an example of the locomotive class (E-8) at the B&O Railroad Museum (#545).

I do have that picture but many thanks for sharing. I have found a total of 3 photos....but only mine has Raymond in them.....would love to find a better one but happy to have the one.

That car is a 1953 Buick Super. In 1973 i bought one from a neighbor down the street.It was in their barn and had 68000 miles on it. I was 17 then, drove it to fort Knox and back while i was in the army. It was a good looking car, maroon with white top.
