My nephew was visiting last evening for the Holidays. His 6 year old son talked about the visit for the last 3 months to see "Uncle Donald's" new train layout.

Well, I was able to get one complete section up and running. Suffice to say little Evan enjoyed his visit. He even chose "running trains" to opening presents...

Kids are special, you cannot replace that smile on his face.

THANKS for the kind thoughts guys.

My kids are both in their 30's so it is fun to have a little guy (or gal) running around with so much enthusiasm. Although, I am "expecting" my first grandson next month!

OK, so what are in the line up of yellow hand tools?  Looks like a gaggle of DeWalts.

Hey TomTee.

Ummmm...here is the rundown. They were all lined up in a vain attempt to clean up the layout in order to run some trains. I am not very good at maintaining a clean work environment so today they are all scattered around again.

(#1) Countersink...(#2) impact for drilling and driving in tight places...(#3) Philips for drywall screws, (#4) torx head for wood screws and a (#5) backup. However, the 20V ones with the BIG HEAVY batteries are dying a slow death and half the time the batteries no longer hold a charge. Lowes had a great Black Friday sale and I picked up a combo pack of brushless lithium's with (2) batteries for the price of one!
