All museum. NS still uses a bit of the old Spencer yard (between the south end of the museum and Salisbury). The main operations were moved north about 5 miles to Linwood in 1977--which gave the Spencer site to the state to start the museum.

You guys were so lucky to be there....even with the bad temps. What an event!
Spencer Yard is still used by NS........I think the yard is now used for some of the locals yard jobs and to store bad order cars.....The museum also runs to the end of the museum lead track as part of the train trip around the museum.
