Okay, this is really for everyone! I found this gem of a find in Cincinnati Union Terminal this week. In the tower museum they have an original marketing brochure for the Train of Tomorrow sitting under a protective layer of plastic on the counter of the old command table. Click on the photo to make it larger so you can read the details.

Enjoy!

How much do I have to say this on the Internet in various locations (I've stated it on this website before)? As the author of the book, and considered an expert of the subject of the Train of Tomorrow, the train's original color was NOT blue. According to the builder's book and accurate pictures taken at the time the color was called DuPont Dulux Blue/Green. I have seen the original color on chipped paint on the existing car, the Moon Glow, owned by the Ogden Union Station Museum, and it definitely was blue/green, or a dark turquoise. So your statement that the brochure shows the original color as accurate is NOT TRUE! - Ric Morgan
