I recently acquired one of these and did some basic repairs to get it working.  New smoke unit wick, clean and adjust base drive, replace lights.  It worked fine for a couple of days and now the voltage on the main drive output from the circuit board has dropped to zero.  It is very disappointing that the circuit board only survived for a few days.  The unit worked smoothly and reliably until the main drive circuit went dead.  I have checked the drive motor and it works fine.  I opened the drive box and did not find anything jamming or issues with the gearbox.  I can also power the drive independently and run the unit through its entire cycle.

So, is my only option to buy a new circuit board?  Has anyone had an issue like this and were they able to repair the board?  I have looked at the board and nothing is obviously cooked.  I have switched the main motor connector with the door motor connector to verify that the main drive motor and its wiring are not the issue, it runs from this circuit.  I am hesitant to buy another circuit board with the performance of this board.

Any thoughts?

If all the wiring has been verified and everything else is "working" except the motor drive, I'd trace back the motor drive voltage to the device which supplies it.  My guess is it's one of the IC chips mounted to a finned heat-sink as circled in red below.  So if the chip has a DC input but no DC output (to the motor), I'd replace it.  These chips should be $1 or so.
