Not using the built in command control function of the switch. You would just wire these switches to an AIU like any other switch. DCS can address the engines but no other functions that I know of at this time.

I have run all kinds of engine and rolling stock through them.  No tinplate bur ten wheelers have gone through them with no problems. Even the mth scale gg1 does not derail. I have been using fastrack for two years of constant running.  I have a bedroom layout that goes around my bed and have three tracks with lots of switching and I run them every night. No derailments. I have no problems with fastrack. I don't think you will be disappointed.  You can try one before you buy multiples so you can test it to see if it suits your needs. Fastrack is very reliable. Not one probl for me and I don't work for lionel.

Glenn,

I have been running FasTrack for many years, have a lot of the original mid black rail and love it, the swithces were always a big problem for my Tin Plate, these new switches seem to have been made to accommodate my Tin Plate, and I keep hearing great things about them, if the Lionel FasTrack Command Control Swithes really do accommodate my Tin Plate trains, I will be investing in them and the Lionel remote system also, I now run DCS only.  As you indicated, I will need to test the FasTrack CC switches with my Tin, some of my friends are saying it now handles Tin perfectly.  Wish I had somebody close by with a layout so I could test them out, without purchasing the switches.  I may have a way to get may hands on a pair, we will see.
