Here are some videos the European Trains subjects.

All are available on E-Bay or Amazon.

Superb Cast! Be sure and watch "The Making of" in the extra section.

The trucks full of snow getting stuck in a blizard and not getting to the location.

The reaction of the sound man who collected all the sounds of the locomotive

only to be told the train would "waltz out of the station to music"

01 Murder on the Orient Express

Very Good. Much Darker than the Sidney Lument version.

02 Murder on the Orient Express

I recorded this on VHS when PBS aired it. David Suchet

is giddy with excitment especially when they give him a cab

ride. This is the Austrailian format but it might play on your

computer.

03 DS On the Orient Express

Very good

04 World Class Trains Orient Express

The exteriors are of a Pullman Wagon not S1 or LX

but still very enjoyable

05 Mystery of the Blue Train

Only on British format but plays on my computer

06 World Class Trains The Orient Express Venice to Budapest

About the inaugural run of the Nostalgic Orient Express.

Very enjoyable

07 The Chronicle Travel Library vol. 7 The Orient Express

For British fans.

08 World Class Trains The Northern Bell

No Computer Generated Images for Director Frankenheimer (sp?)

He blows up, de-rails and wrecks real Pre-war trains.

09 The Train

Ever have a party and your non-train fan guests don't know when its time to go home?

Put this on and the party's over! Really, Really great color footage of Pacifics, Mountains,

Mikados and others chugging along.

10 The Great Steam Locomotives of France

An Austrailian format that I haven't seen but with my fav

Poirot!

11 Peter Ustinov on the Orient Express

As the opening credits roll, George is driving his 1930's

sportscar beside a steam train with Cote d'Azur type pullmans

12 Monte Carlo

Thanks for the information. Here are my favored sources for foreign railway videos:

British:

http://www.videoscene.co.uk/

Italian:

A Variety of Continental Subjects:

Most of the programs advertised are not region specific so, provided your player is PAL capable (most current production DVD playes are), they should play without difficulty. I've purchased many of these programs and have yet to encounter problems.

North American production companies Revelation Video (Ron McElrath) and Highball Productions (Peter Crook) offer several foreign programs as well. Also worth mentioning are the South African steam programs offered by Goodheart Productions. They are incredible.
