My wife’s side of the family has always done a “Hanukkah Tree”, so now I have a Hannukah Tree....... Now I finally have an excuse to have a train going around a tree in my living room!

Hey Mat ,
Has your wife's family wondered about the train at the Hanukkah Tree ? 🤔😉
Very sharp Matt.
Very cool! Have a Happy Hanukkah!
My neighbors also have a train running around their blue and white "Hanukkah Tree," Lights on the outside of their house, too. Looks great mixed in with all the Christmas lights on the other houses. They're nice folks.
Your Dad always said he loved the trains around the tree. I guess He's smiling down at you now. LOL

NICE Holiday display! Happy Hanukkah!
Beautiful...my father had a white Christmas tree in the 1970s in his office...your video brings back good memories of that. Thanks.
Looks great!
Happy Hanukkah

Looks great Matt but how about sending that new Big Boy around for a few laps.
Happy holidays,
Brad
Mattrains, you have all the bases covered with a "Hanukkah Tree", with a star on top and the Menorah on the mantel. Beautiful tree by the way! Bring that passenger train to life with passengers in the passenger cars! :-) I do admit, adding painted figures to passenger cars is a daunting task 'cause you have to take the cars apart to do it. Plus, painted O, 1/48, 1/50 scale people figures are expensive when you add them up. I usually only fill half the seats in my passenger cars, otherwise they look a little busy. Funny story; I put passengers in my Santa Fe Super Chief cars and one little old lady had her hand up. I didn't think anything of it until I was watching the train in action and what the heck, that little old lady is flipping me off!!! I'm not kidding, looks just like the bird. Hopefully the little kids won't notice it or think anything of it. LMAO! Happy Hanukkah!!! Picture posted, I hope nobody gets offended! I did not modify this figure, that's the way it came from China!
Thank you everyone! Once we have a house, this will definitely become more than a small oval. My wife likes to call the Blue Comet cars "her" cars, because she spotted them in a train store while we were on vacation a few months ago and said "those would be perfect cars to go around the Hanukkah tree, can we get them?" .... I said to her "are you asking me for permission to buy a train? Is this really happening?!?!"
Mat
Mat,
You have her trained very well asking you if we can buy any trains! Good boy there, job well done. We also have a converted white lighted Christmas tree decorated with blue and silver balls; white, gold and silver snowflakes; and other Hanukkah decorations. Missing is a train going around. I tried 1 year with a G Gauge set and it did not last long. The wife is not trained as well as yours Mat!
Enjoy Hanukkah and hopefully Hanukkah Harry brings you great gifts.
This is last year's Hanukkah train - time to start on this year's !
Nice Mat!. You may be interested in this Lionel car from a couple years ago. Charles Ro still has it in stock:

Not that you needed it, but just one more piece of evidence that you married the right lady!
