I'm looking to replace some speakers in some of my TMCC/Railsound steam locomotives and I want to match them as closely as can can to the frequency range that the Railsounds board can produce. I.E. (100Hz to 20,000Hz) or whatever it is. Thank you for showing an interest.

Well, the lower the bass response is, the better the sound will be.
I've found some 2" round that have a bottom end of 150Hz but I don't know if its a waste if the Railsounds board only produces down to 200Hz. I don't recall see specs on this with any Railsounds boards.
It's really a function of the sound file cooked into the boards, and only Lionel knows those specifications.
OK. Well I will just just go with the speaker with the lowest Hz value. As always, thank you John and all who viewed this.
You can get some nice free audio spectrum analyzer apps for your phone/tablet/etc. that work pretty nicely these days. Certainly good enough to baseline your sounds.
