Just wanted to give a quick "shout out" to Dennis Zander/Z-Stuff for Trains for some truly outstanding customer service.

I have several of their products on my layout.....and am happy with all of them.

After about 11 months or so, the "arm" on my 1040-U Semaphore stopped working.  I simply emailed Dennis, got the go ahead to mail it in for return or replacement.....and then promptly received a working one in the mail in a little over a week or so.

I can't emphasize how easy the entire process was and how great Dennis was to work with.

Thanks for posting. I just burnt out my 3rd and final scale semaphore from another manufacture... and I am done replacing them. I will be eyeing Z stuff replacements at York.

I have the same great fortune in buying Ross switches. broke a draw bar on the switch and they offered to repair it for free and pay shipping. I politely declined and said I just wanted a new replacement. They sent 3 in the mail that week.

I think you'll like the Z-Stuff products, J Daddy.

Here's what else I like about Z-Stuff:  1) drill small hole in plywood to run wires through, 2) mount signal with two small screws, 3) hook up TWO wires, 4) run trains and enjoy.....b/c you're done.

If it takes you more than 10 minutes to install one of their products, you're slow.
