OUTSTANDING layout..you have to see!

This past Saturday afternoon and evening, after the Casey Jones Chapter TCA meet in Memphis, Richard Gonzales took us to see Bill Norvell's beautiful O-gauge layout. For those of you that may know Bill, he is a multi-talented guy. He has done much during his life not the least of which he has some interesting stories about Elvis but that is for another forum somewhere on the web! Anyway, Bill is a master layout builders to say the least...his layout is completed which you don't see very often in this hobby. Everywhere we looked was a scene and each were executed expertly....and each had a story. Bill kept us entertained the entire time we were there....which was not long enough! I took some pictures that, if right clicked, can be enlarged by clicking on "open link in new window". This is a layout that I'll bet most of you have never seen so I hope you all enjoy it and if you will be so kind as to make comments, I will give Bill a call and read them to him!!

If you are ever down this way and you would like to see Bill's layout just let me know. He loves to have folks over to see his truly outstanding layout. Like Alan said, you do not see to many layouts that are 100% complete.

Just down the hall from the O gauge Layout Bill has an HO layout that is almost as big as the O gauge layout. I think Alan may have taken a picture or two of it also.

That would be great Richard. I talked to Rich about this layout today and he thought it was really nice. I mentioned that it would make a great article and he said he did too but Bill of course would have to write the article or have someone do it for him. Anyway, you can see that the forum members like it very much!!
