Prime with the 96 cent WalMart color place primer.  It is thin enough to show detail yet prime the plastic.  Also Kilz Original Formula spray is good.  Be sure to spray the Kilz further away than the junky WalMart flat grey primer as it is thicker.  You don't want to hide the details.  Then after proper priming you can use Poly Scale acrylics in airbrush or not.  They have no odor and minimal clean up hassle.  Be sure to scrub all plastic with soap and water prior to painting, and let dry, to remove any oils from the resin.  Again the WalMart grey primer works so well because it is junky and thin and primes without covering details.  Be sure all coats dry 2 days or so.  Paints have a set and a cure time.  Cure time takes longer than set and it pays off to be patient.

So Ill give it a try. Any other tips on painting  would be welcomed   I'm still waiting for a order to come in with a bunch of paint.  I can't wait
