I just finished lowering my Lionel B-unit (super easy by the way, just four lock washers 0.045" thick) to match my Atlas A, and realized that I like the steps on the Atlas F2.  A good man named John Sethian has mentioned that he uses the P&D Hobby PDP5050; but looking on the website, I see part numbers PDP5050, 5051 and 5052.  I think 5052 are the same parts as the 5050, but 8 per package instead of 4...

Anyone really know the difference in the P&D part numbers?  You can easily see the difference between the Lionel & Atlas ones, even though they are both metal.

That is what I needed to know... Thanks!

I want to replace the ones on the Lionel F units, and I need some of these, as well as the ones that slide between the frame and the shell.

Since the frame is thick metal, I'd like to machine it so these steps fit.  I like the way they look when John Sethian used these for his MTH Fs.

Thanks,

- Mario
