This PCB is connected between the rail power wires and MTH PS2 board on a One Gauge locomotive. I have looked all over the website and can’t find one. Any idea what this is? It’s not allowing power through it so this locomotive is dead. It appears to be some kind of fuse…
It looks like there is another one between the motors and board as well.
It's a common mode choke to suppress EMI, this was added to meet European EMI standards. You can bypass this board and it'll run normally. A similar issue happens to the PS/3 logic boards, and I've bypassed these several times to restore operation. Legal in the US, questionable in Europe.
