Anyone know the part number for a plain old (the cheapest) plastic Lionel operating truck?

If you you order them from Lionel do they come each or in pairs?

I think this is it

61099500509950 TRK / 50T / BLACK / W/ DIE CAST PLUNGER $12.50

Do they make a plastic truck that looks like it has roller bearings?

If that is the cheap one and that price is each, I'm better off to scrap them from used cars.

I am getting my parts order ready for Saturday.

Thanks

I found what I assume to be the cheapest operating truck

6109150050PLASTIC TRK / 70T (NO COLL) (CPLR 1.75") $8.50

I guess my main question is do trucks come in singles or pairs from Lionel.

Some other part numbers would be awesome.  I would like to see what the price difference is between this and some newer models.

I am not having great luck with Lionel's webpage.

thanks again

For a lot less than $21 you can find nice cars to rob trucks from!

I wish Lionel would run the plactic ArchBar trucks again...I am running out of them!

Back when they were easy to find a major Lionel parts seller had them for about $5 a pair. Should have bought more!!!

We have the 610-9150-050 trucks for $7.00 ea. plus shipping. Or you can buy the Korean truck frame from Jeff at the Train Tender For $2.50 and axle and wheels for $2.15 Ea. We also have the 610-9950-050 they are $10.60, these are sprung die cast. You can also call Lionel during their open house and get them for 50% off list price.

Thanks everyone.  It looks like scavenging is my best bet.  I have some candidates for donors but since some of them are club cars I want to post them in the for sale section first, just in case some one has been looking for that particular car.  I also will run a wanted ad.  Is anyone else getting their parts list ready for Saturday?

FYI while hunting, Lionel MPC made some all plastic trucks that came with plastic wheels as well. The lack of weight alone keeps me from running them. Also axles are not all the same in length and/or style. Coupler lengths vary. Bolster areas style and height can be different too.

Those mpc cars had often had one operating, and one non operating coupler. The Kickapoo set(1980s) had two non operating ones on the cheapest cars Ive ever seen in O. Those mid-higher priced trucks are mostly metal, really roll very very well(way better that the post war metal ones), sprung, some even have real bearings, and most cars can use the extra weight. I would save till I could afford some, nice of me to spend your $ huh? Do you need plastic wheels(fyi-w/metal axles)? I would trade you for some steel ones via mail. I might have 20 pair total, but they are not extras, I would have to have replacements. I have them, I just avoid running them....Hey, why plastic? Which car #s, and name?
