hello all, here is a lionel tender chassis I may be able to use to modify a tender I have. I can’t find a shell that can match this under the part number listed does anyone have an idea what length this is or a part number to match?

It looks like it is a modernish frame that supports short streamlined tender shells that are 7 1/2 inches long. They were first introduced in 1954 with the 1130T.
thanks for the input by looking at it you can see it was part of a train sound tender the seller didn’t respond yet on the measurements but the shell I have is an exact 7 inches i’ll check the measurements on the 1130T and see if we match
UPDATED: it is from a small streamlined 1130 tender. As far as I know, it was only used in the reissue girls train tender a number of years ago. 693-8346-T09
This is incorrect data, see below.
Ron,
Chuck is right. It's for the same size tender as your 6-36788, which is the 6026/8050T style.
The hole pattern was first created in the early 2000's to use with the modular RailSounds boards, but it may have been produced later as well.

Interesting - I didn't think the modern editions of the 6026 came with electronics. With the 1130 and 6026 frames being very similar in size (7 1/2 vs 7 5/8), it would be easy to mix them up.
Re updated again, Had it right the first time. From a box tender 6026 train sound tender. The extra cutout is for when they (Lionel) started using die cast trucks instead of plastic. 692-8635-T01
hey guys, thanks for the input trying to identify what lionel tender frame this item would fit
