I'm not sure if this the correct forum, but I am looking for parts and schematics for a K-Line diesel engine I have. I live in Wisconsin if that helps as far as locating a source for me. I thank all for your assistance.

As far as I know, K-line never published a schematic for anything! I have some diesel parts available for the train set line of engines.

For whatever Chuck doesn't have, you can try Brasseur Trains. They have a lot of K-Line parts.
Chuck, Thank you. I am looking for a roller pickup for my KLine GP38-2. I guess I will have to take off the shell and poke around in there to see what is amiss.
Thanks to you too Southwest Hi. I would assume that Brasseur Trains would be on the web.
If that is the snap in type, I have them
I'll check on that and let you know. Thanks, Chuck

The good news is, much of their stuff is OEM Lionel, so you can frequently use the Lionel data to work on them.
Chuck, the roller pickup is surrounded on three sides by some black plastic material. The roller itself looks to be either rivited or held on by a serrated, or toothed ring. I don't know if this makes any sense. Paul
Are you sure the roller isn't secured by a screw inside the truck? Many are secured from the top.
Some of the newer rollers are secured on the top, like Williams, but post-war design by Lionel has a screw underneath that holds on the roller assemblies on some of their diesels.

I'll take another look. Thanks. Bingo! You guys are great. I took off the roller, the pin that holds the roller in comes loose. Any fixes that I can do or do I give it the deep six and get a new one?
I'd probably get a new roller.
Brassuer Electric Trains has some K-line parts. I have scored there several times. Here is there website.
You can easily repean the roller axle to the roller bracket if you don't want to replace.
Thanks everyone. I emailed Brassuer Electric Trains to see if they have a replacement part.
