I have a 3rd Rail S-1 that came in for service. The brass tender side frame is missing (presumed broken and discarded). I contacted 3rd Rail and they said they do not carry parts for a 15 year old locomotive. I also contacted Bob Lavezzi, but didn't get a reply. The side frame is very thin so a diecast version appears too wide to adapt and allow the truck to swing properly. Any sources for these parts or a suitable replacement? I can replace both trucks, if necessary if I can find one to fit.

I am not sure of this, but most PRR four axle tender trucks were Commonwealth, and that appears to be an ATSF Buckeye truck, also used by the C&O for one of the Allegheny trucks. I will look further - once in a while four axle trucks show up on eBay. PSC has them in kits, but they are sprung, and usually set up for 2-rail.
2-rail will work since the tender doesn't pick up power. This is what was on the tender when I got it. I don't believe the previous owner changed them. Not familiar with PSC??
I agree with Bob2's previous comment. Those are not the trucks from a Sunset PRR S1 duplex. I had a number of extra pair of the correct trucks a few years ago but sold them all. I suggest calling Sunset and asking if they still have any extra tender trucks for a PRR J1, T1, Q2 or S1. Same truck for all.
Looks from your profile like you may do some work at MTH. Their PRR T1, Q2 and J1 models also used these tender trucks.
But if you are happy with the Buckeyes, the PSC part number is PSH 40669, and they sell them in pairs. I suppose y ou cannot see them anyway, with the tender skirts going so low. Good luck!
