I have just tried to look up some parts on the lionel web site. I can't find a thing........am I doing something wrong? dash board is gone with all my products registered gone.........

You have to start from scratch. Create a new account. If you had items in your cart, they are gone along with the list of your old orders.

I would be OK with it if they hadn't removed a significant part of the functionality of the old site! There are zillions of very useful pictures like this...
You also can't narrow a search if there are hundreds of entries. They obviously thought about this issue, as there is a hint that that should be a feature...
There is no box to enter anything, so that's just a hint meant to frustrate you apparently.

I don’t dislike it. The new one works better, for me, than the old one. On the old one, I rarely got past entering payment info. When I’d click Submit it would usually go back to the beginning and I’d have an empty cart. The new one, no problem.

I ordered tons of parts from the old website for years, that was never a problem for me. I'd be looking at your computer environment for that issue, I can't imagine it was the Lionel site or I'd have seen it on one of the several hundred orders over the years I placed there!
ITCOULD STAND IMPROVEMENT.
