Passenger Announcements in Ps2

Speaking to MTH they told me that in order to hear passenger and crew talk and announcements, I need to attach a DCS system comprising a Track Interference Unit and a Remote DCS controller to my Z 4000. Now without the dcs I can only hear the bell and horn. Is that accurate? And where do I buy the dcs unit. eBay?

Almost any 3 rail train store will stock them or can order one for you too besides the 'bay.

Some DCS TIU sets came with an MTH remote, others now come with the MTH Wi-Fi adapter
