Passenger car 2 pack price difference

Thumbing through the new catalog, I noticed that the Transcontinental sleeper two packs are priced at $399.99 as compared to the two packs for the Golden Stae and Lark sets which are priced at $359.99. Anyone else notice? what would be the reason for the price difference. The car sets seem the same except for the decoration.

I can't speak to that one specifically but sometimes when you see a price difference like that it's due to licensing.
